◾️Open-air bath
Cape-no-Yu Shakotan is located at the tip of the Shakotan Peninsula.
From the open-air bath overlooking the Sea of Japan, you can see Cape Kamui and Cape Shakotan, and the sunset on the horizon.
The spring is a carbonate spring with a slight slime.
The bathhouse is equipped with a high-temperature bath, a medium-temperature bath, a bubble bath, and a sauna. Please spend a relaxing time while feeling the nature of Shakotan, which shows its seasonal changes.
◾️ botanical sauna
This wet sauna uses a variety of plants grown on the farm of the adjacent Shakotan Spirit (craft gin distillery). The stove is made of halvia that can be lowered, and there are scent boards on the wall. The water bath is made of groundwater and is run over a combined groundwater flow. And the outside air bath with a view of the Sea of Japan is just the best.
We invite you to experience the magic hour at sunset.
Scent:
Various botanicals used in the adjacent Shakotan Spirit craft gin distillery are hung, boiled, and experimented with daily. In the men's bath, Yanimatsu pine and camphor trees are installed as scent boards on the walls, and water can be poured over them to enjoy the waru.
Facilities:
A large stove made by Halvia is used.
